Most come into the solar industry with high hopes - earn a great living while saving the planet. Unfortunately, even though we sell sustainability, there are very few sustainable solar companies, but thousands of people have been burned due to immature, even unethical practices.
Sometimes it seems like the bad actors get away with so much, while the good ones are left to pick up the pieces.
Enter Project Prometheus. In the stories Prometheus brought fire and civilization to mankind only to be punished by Zeus for empowering humans to one day rival the gods. Eventually, Heracles (aka Hercules) rescued Prometheus thus signaling another period of enlightenment and renewal.
Project Prometheus seeks to create a community of like-minded solar professionals who will set new standards for both sales, ops, and finances to help create the opportunities and experiences that will launch the new era of energy.
How It Works
Stage 1 - Onboarding
Between March 1 and April 30, 2024 we are vetting and onboarding new sales and install groups. Based on each organizations' performance metrics they will be categorized into a corresponding status - Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Unknown.
Platinum and Gold members have the opportunity to collaborate hand-in-hand with other installers and sales orgs on a monthly basis to discover best practices and drive sales to their regions.

Stage 2 - Publication
After April 30, we will publish our findings on installers and sales orgs nationwide to provide and unprecedented level of transparency to the residential solar industry.
